Features Application AreasDCU Data Concentrator Unit The WDSM series modules involves robustly designed smart controller having GPRS and RF smartly integrated in a single device which supports multiple functionalities such as data transmission through GPRS to the Head End Server and collection of data from multiple devices or meters through RF. The RF or LoRA transceivers act as a master device to send and receive commands and alerts from slave LoRA/RF transceivers respectively. LoRA Based Mesh Networking - LoRA RF transceivers operating in Sub 1 GHz license free frequency are connected with the communication port of the energy meters which transmits data to a DCU (Data Concentrator Unit). The DCU send the data directly to the HES through GPRS connectivity. The DCU receives commands from the HES and pulls / push data to the energy meters through LoRA transceivers. The energy meters and the DCU form a mesh network in order to communicate and transmit data through the network.
